FAQ
Wall questions
What are custom vinyl graphics?
Custom vinyl graphics are printed or cut adhesive vinyl designs applied to walls, windows, floors, vehicles, and other surfaces. They range from simple cut lettering to full-color printed murals and wraps. Red Bliss prints and cuts vinyl in Las Vegas and offers installation. Vinyl is one of the most flexible branding tools available because it works on almost any smooth surface.
What is the difference between printed and die-cut vinyl?
Printed vinyl is full-color graphics printed onto adhesive vinyl, often laminated, and applied as a panel or cut to shape. Die-cut (or cut) vinyl is solid-color vinyl cut into letters and shapes with no background, giving a clean, painted-on look. Printed vinyl handles photos and gradients; cut vinyl is ideal for logos, lettering, and window text. Many projects combine both.
Can vinyl graphics be installed on walls, windows, and floors?
Yes. Red Bliss uses wall vinyl for smooth and lightly textured painted walls, window vinyl including perforated and frosted options, and slip-resistant laminated floor vinyl. Each surface requires a different vinyl and adhesive, so tell the team where the graphic is going. Surface texture, paint type, and cleanliness all affect adhesion.
Can vinyl graphics be used outdoors?
Yes, with outdoor-rated vinyl and UV laminate. Outdoor graphics in Las Vegas must handle direct sun, heat, and dust, so material selection matters more here than in most markets. Cast vinyl and quality laminates last far longer than economy calendared vinyl. Tell the team the location and expected lifespan so the right product is specified.
How long do vinyl graphics last?
Indoor vinyl graphics can last five years or more. Outdoor graphics in Las Vegas typically last two to five years depending on the vinyl grade, laminate, sun exposure, and orientation. Floor graphics wear faster and are usually rated in months. Premium cast vinyl with UV laminate delivers the longest life.
Can vinyl graphics be removed without damaging the surface?
Yes, when the right removable or changeable vinyl is used and the surface was properly prepared. Most quality vinyl removes cleanly from glass, sealed surfaces, and factory paint. Risk increases on fresh paint, low-quality paint, drywall with poor primer, and porous surfaces. Tell the team if removal matters so a removable adhesive is specified.
What surfaces are unsuitable for vinyl installation?
Heavily textured walls, unsealed drywall or concrete, brick, freshly painted surfaces (under 30 days), surfaces with low-VOC or anti-graffiti paint, and anything dirty, oily, or peeling are poor candidates. Some surfaces can be prepped or primed first, and specialty conformable vinyl exists for textured walls. Send a photo and Red Bliss will confirm whether the surface will work.
Can Red Bliss design, print, and install the graphics?
Yes. Red Bliss can prepare or adapt your artwork, print and laminate the vinyl, cut it to shape, and install it on-site. Handling all steps in one place ensures the graphic is sized to the actual surface and installed with the correct method for the material.
